| Infused Waters, also known as steam distillates, are commonly used as room fresheners, skin toners/tonics, body and hair spritzes and as ingredients in skin and hair care products. These products are slightly acidic and help restore the acid mantle of your skin. Infused Waters are used in place of water to create natural fragrances in lotions, creams, facial toners and other skin care products.
Infused Waters have the appearance and consistency of water and contain minimal concentrations of essential oil. These products are also extremely safe, even for babies. In fact, they’re so gentle they are used as excellent ingredients to tone, hydrate and rebalance the pH of skin.
Traditionally, distillates were the byproducts from steam distilling, created while extracting essential oils. Today the highest quality distillates come from distillers who steam the floral and plant material strictly to produce distillates.
